Thank you to the Racq Foundation for the $15000 grant to replace our damaged sprung floor.
Salsa Sorensen Association has donated $5000 to the Club. The generous donation from this local charitable association will enable our Club to increase its training mat area. This increase will allow the club to hold training weekends for the FNQ Region and help our Club with our growing membership base.
Douglas Shire Council
The Douglas Shire Council provided $2000.00 of funding for the Coral Coast Judo Clubs "Get a Grip" Scholarship program. The funding by the DSC allowed the Club to provided 10 sponsorships to students from all schools within the Shire in an effort to promote the health and well-being of residents of the Shire.
Queensland Government Department of National Parks. Recreation, Sport and Racing.
The Queensland Government provided $10,000 to Coral Coast Judo Club to enable the club to purchase Judo mats to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.
The Queensland Government provided $10,000 to Coral Coast Judo Club to enable to club to purchase a sprung floor to increase Queenslanders participation in sport and recreation activities.
The Queensland Government provided $2000 to Coral Coast Judo Club to enable the club to restart Judo after Covid 19 shut down activities
Cairns Regional Council
Cairns Regional Council provided funding to enable three Coral Coast Judo Club coaches to complete their first aid certificates and Australian Sports Commissions National Coach Accreditation Scheme certification.
A big thank-you to the generousity of Cairns Hardware for the donation of an industrial fan for use at the dojo. Given the recent heat it is a welcome addition to the Club. Its great to see a local business supporting a local sporting club. Thanks again to Joanne Ablett, store manager of Mossman Hardware for her support of our sponsorship application.
